So, a journal entry, how exciting!!

I'm pretty good, thanks for asking, other than my shin would appreciate some clips so that when I am trying to pedal up a very steep hill, my foot, in all of its slip-on vans glory, does not fall off, causing the pedal to stop only when it reaches my unsuspecting leg. But what fun the way down was! Other than that one little bump I almost ate shit going down on, that one really steep part at the top (the view was amazing especially 680 in all its glory). Oooh biking on ridges is so much fun! It is disappointing thinking I am going so fast downhill only to see Nick fly past me, but hey at least I didn't fall, and its the feeling that matters, still booking it past the trees that become yellow and green blurs.

Hmm speaking of New York, my trip there was awesome. I love the school, the people, the team, the wilderness, everything! I can't wait to go back and see it when its snowing, and better yet, go to college there!!

I'm so excited to leave California (it better happen) I still have fun adventures exploring new places with Nick, but a whole new state to explore would be so EXCITING. Especially whenever my family or Nick would visit...

I used to worry if it would be hard to leave and go so far away, but the more I think about it, the more I embrace the idea, the better it seems. ARGHH I'm so stoked.

Nick, this will only make sense to you, all those songs we play in the car too loud and then have stuck in our heads when we are somewhere, like pushing our bikes up a fatty bo batty ridge with lady gaga stuck in our heads..
